S.I. No. 18/1999 - Health and Children (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1999.
The Government, on the request of the Minister for Health and Children and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows: | ||||||||
1. This Order may be cited as the Health and Children (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1999. | ||||||||
2. The powers and duties of the Minister for Health and Children conferred on him by or under— | ||||||||
(a) the Adoption Acts, 1952 to 1998, | ||||||||
(b) the Children Acts, 1908 to 1989, | ||||||||
(c) the Child Care Act, 1991 (No. 17 of 1991), and | ||||||||
(d) the Protection for Persons Reporting Child Abuse Act, 1998 (No. 49 of 1998), | ||||||||
are hereby delegated to Frank Fahey, Minister of State at the Department of Health and Children. | ||||||||
