S.I. No. 121/1999 - Electoral Act, 1997 (Section 33) Order, 1999.


The Minister for the Environment and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 33 of the Electoral Act, 1997 (No. 25 of 1997), as amended by section 12 of the Electoral (Amendment) Act, 1998 (No. 4 of 1998), hereby makes the following order, a draft of which has been approved by a resolution passed by each House of the Oireachtas:

1. This order may be cited as the Electoral Act, 1997 (section 33) Order, 1999.

2. The aggregate of election expenses which may be incurred by or on behalf of a candidate in a European Parliament election constituency in connection with his or her candidature at the European election shall not exceed £150,000.
