LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT, 1998 (COMMENCEMENT) (NO. 4) ORDER, 1998

The Minister for the Environment and Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 15 (4) of the Local Government Act, 1998 (No. 16 of 1998), hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government Act, 1998 (Commencement) (No. 4) Order, 1998.

2. Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 13 and 14 shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1999.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This order brings into effect certain provisions of the Local Government Act, 1998 in relation to the funding of local authorities.
