LOCAL GOVERNMENT (EQUALISATION) FUND (COUNTY CLARE) ORDER, 1997

The Minister for the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 5 (2) of the Local Government (Financial Provisions) Act, 1997 (No. 29 of 1997), hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Equalisation) Fund (County Clare) Order, 1997.

2. The percentage specified for the purposes of section 5 (2) (a) of the Local Government (Financial Provisions) Act, 1997 in relation to the Council of the County of Clare shall be 45 per cent.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order specifies that Clare County Council shall pay 45 per cent of the car tax collected by it into the Local Government (Equalisation) Fund.
