ARAN ISLANDS TRANSPORT (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) ORDER, 1996.

The Government, on the request of the Taoiseach and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order be cited as the Aran Islands Transport (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1996, and shall come into operation on the 21st day of March, 1996.

2. The powers and duties of the Taoiseach conferred on him by or under the Aran Islands Transport Act, 1946 (No .5 of 1946), are hereby delegated to Donal Carey, T.D., Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach.
