LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT, 1994 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1996.

The Minister for the Environment in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 1 (9) of the Local Government Act, 1994 (No, 8 of 1994), hereby orders as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government Act, 1994 (Commencement) Order, 1996.

2. Section 63 of the Local Government Act, 1994 shall come into operation on the making of this Order.

3. Section 4 (1) of and the First Schedule to the Local Government Act, 1994 shall come into operation on the making of this Order to the extent specified in the Schedule to this Order.
