FINANCE ACT, 1995 (COMMENCEMENT OF CHAPTER V OF PART II) (APPEALS IN RELATION TO EXCISE DUTY) ORDER, 1995.

I, RUAIRÍ QUINN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 109 of the Finance Act, 1995 (No. 8 of 1995) hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Finance Act, 1995 (Commencement of Chapter V of Part II) (Appeals in relation to Excise Duty) Order, 1995.

2. The 1st day of January, 1996 is hereby appointed as the day on which Chapter V of Part II of the Finance Act, 1995 (No. 8 of 1995), shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The purpose of this Order is to implement the appeals provisions contained in Chapter V of Part II of the Finance Act, 1995 .
