ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY ACT, 1992 (SECTION 36 (4)) ORDER, 1994.

In exercise of the powers conferred on the Minister for the Environment by section 36 (4) of the Environmental Protection Agency Act, 1992 (No. 7 of 1992), which said powers are delegated to me by the Environment (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1993 ( S.I. No. 127 of 1993 ), I, JOHN BROWNE, Minister of State at the Department of the Environment, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Environmental Protection Agency Act, 1992 (Section 36 (4)) Order, 1994.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 18th day of July, 1994.

3. All classes, descriptions and grades of employment with the Agency for which the maximum remuneration does not exceed the maximum remuneration of Level 6 in the employment of the Agency are hereby designated as classes, descriptions and grades of employment to which the provisions of sub-sections 36 (2) and (3) of the Environmental Protection Agency Act, 1992 , do not apply.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order, which comes into effect on the 18th of July, 1994, provides that sections 36 (2) and 36 (3) of the Environmental Protection Agency Act, 1992 , shall not apply to employees of the Agency whose maximum remuneration does not exceed the maximum remuneration of Level 6 in the employment of the Agency.
