REGISTRATION OF BIRTHS AND DEATHS (IRELAND) ACT, 1863 (SECTION 18) (TIPPERARY SOUTH) ORDER, 1993.

An tArd-Chláraitheoir, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 18 of the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863, hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863 (Section 18) (Tipperary South) Order, 1993.

2. The division of the County of Tipperary South into Registrars' Districts shall be varied as follows:

( a ) The existing Registrars' Districts of Clonmel No. 1, Clonmel No. 2, Kilsheelan No. 1 and Kiltinan shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Clonmel.

( b ) The existing Registrars' Districts of Ardfinnan, Cahir and Clogheen shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Clogheen.

( c ) The existing Registrars' Districts of Bansha, Cappagh, Emly, Golden and Tipperary shall be amalgamated and shall together form one Registrar's District to be known as the Registrar's District of Tipperary.

3. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1994.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to amalgamate certain Registrars' Districts in the County of Tipperary South so as to reduce the number of such districts in that county.
