FINANCE (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) ORDER, 1993.

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Finance and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Finance (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1993.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 6th day of April, 1993.

2. The powers and duties of the Minister for Finance conferred on him by or under the enactments specified in Part I of the Schedule to this Order and by the Regulations specified in Part II of the said Schedule are hereby delegated to NOEL DEMPSEY, Minister of State at the Department of Finance.

SCHEDULE

PART I

Section 11 of the State Property Act, 1954 (No. 25 of 1954).

Whale Fisheries Act, 1937 (No. 4 of 1937).

Wildlife Act, 1976 (No. 39 of 1976).

PART II

European Communities ( Wildlife Act, 1976 ) (Amendment) Regulations, 1986 ( S.I. No. 254 of 1986 ).

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order formally delegates to Noel Dempsey T.D. Minister of State at the Department of Finance, the powers and duties of the Minister under the Acts specified in the Order.
