OIL POLLUTION OF THE SEA (CIVIL LIABILITY AND COMPENSATION) ACT, 1988 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1992.

I, MICHAEL WOODS, Minister for the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of the Oil Pollution of the Sea (Civil Liability and Compensation ) Act, 1988 (No. 11 of 1988), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Oil Pollution of the Sea (Civil Liability and Compensation) Act, 1988 (Commencement) Order, 1992.

2. The 20th day of November, 1992, is hereby appointed as the day on which the Oil Pollution of the Sea (Civil Liability and Compensation) Act, 1988 (No. 11 of 1988 ), shall come into operation.
