DISEASES OF ANIMALS ACT, 1966 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1992.

I, JOE WALSH, Minister for Agriculture and Food, in exercise of the power conferred on me by Section 1 (2) of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (No. 6 of 1966), as adapted by the Agriculture (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1987 ( S.I. No. 97 of 1987 ), hereby order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (Commencement) Order, 1992.

2. The 7th day of September, 1992 is hereby appointed as the day on which sections 16, 21, 31, 34, 42 to 45, 55 and 57 of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (No. 6 of 1966), shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to bring into operation sections 16, 21, 31, 34, 42 to 45, 55 and 57 of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966 (No. 6 of 1966).
