SOCIAL WELFARE ACT, 1992 (SECTION 32) (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1992.

The Minister for Social Welfare, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 32 of the Social Welfare Act, 1992 , hereby orders as follows:—

1 Citation.

1. This order may be cited as the Social Welfare Act, 1992 . (Section 32) (Commencement) Order, 1992.

2 Commencement.

2. Section 32 of the Social Welfare Act, 1992 shall come into operation on the 1st day of July, 1992.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This order brings section 32 of the Social Welfare Act, 1992 , which provides for the amendment of the contribution conditions for Disability Benefit by requiring a minimum of 13 paid contributions in the governing contribution year, into effect from 1st of July, 1992.
