WORKER PARTICIPATION (STATE ENTERPRISES) (No. 2) ORDER, 1988.

I, BERTIE AHERN, Minister for Labour, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 23 [as amended by section 21 of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1988 (No. 13 of 1988)] of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1977 (No. 6 of 1977), and after consultation with the Minister for Finance and the Minister for Health, hereby make the following Order in respect to which, pursuant to section 4 (4) of the said Act of 1977, a draft has been laid before each House of the Oireachtas and a resolution approving the draft has been passed by each such House:

1. This Order may be cited as the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) (No. 2) Order, 1988.

2. With effect from the day this Order is made, the number of members of the National Rehabilitation Board shall be fifteen, and the appropriate number of those members shall be three.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to fix the number of members of the National Rehabilitation Board and the number of members to be appointed following election by the employees, in accordance with the provisions of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Acts, 1977 and 1988.
