FINANCE (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) ORDER, 1988.

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Finance and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Finance (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1988.

2. All the powers and duties of the Minister for Finance conferred on him by or under—

(a) the Whale Fisheries Act, 1937 (No. 4 of 1937), and

(b) the Wildlife Act, 1976 (No. 39 of 1976),

are hereby delegated to Noel Treacy, Minister of State at the Department of Finance.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order formally delegates to Mr. Noel Treacy, T.D., Minister of State, at the Department of Finance, the powers and duties of the Minister under the Acts specified in the Order.
