S.I. No. 25/1987 - Transport (Re-Organisation of Córas Iompair Éireann) Act, 1986 (Vesting Day) Order, 1987.

I, JIM MITCHELL, Minister for Communications, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 6 (2) of the Transport (Re-Organisation of Córas Iompair Éireann) Act, 1986 (No. 31 of 1986), and after consultation with Córas Iompair Éireann, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Transport (Re-Organisation of Córas Iompair Éireann) Act, 1986 (Vesting Day) Order, 1987.

2. The 2nd day of February, 1987, is hereby appointed to be the vesting day for each of the companies formed and registered under the Companies Acts pursuant to section 6 (1) of the Transport (Re-Organisation of Córas Iompair Éireann) Act, 1986 , namely, Iarnród Éireann — Irish Rail, Bus Éireann — Irish Bus and Bus Átha Cliath — Dublin Bus.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order appoints the 2nd February, 1987, as the vesting day for the three subsidiary companies, formed in accordance with the Transport (Re-Organisation of Córas Iompair Éireann) Act, 1986 , (No. 31 of 1986), to operate the Railways, Dublin City Bus Services and Provincial Bus Services.
