ROAD TRANSPORT (VEHICLE PLATE ISSUING STATIONS) ORDER, 1986.

I, TED NEALON, Minister of State at the Department of Communications, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 10 of the Road Transport Act, 1933 (No. 8 of 1933), the Minister and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1983 (No. 40 of 1983), and the Communications (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1984 ( S.I. No. 146 of 1984 ), and after consultation with the Commissioner of the Gárda Síochána, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Road Transport (Vehicle Plate Issuing Stations) Order, 1986.

2. The Gárda Síochána stations specified in column (2) of the Schedule to this Order are hereby appointed to be vehicle plate issuing stations for the purposes of Part II of the Road Transport Act, 1933 , in lieu of the Gárda Síochána stations so appointed by the Road Transport (Vehicle Plate Issuing Stations) Order, 1933 (S. R. & O., No. 125 of 1933), and the Road Transport (Vehicle Plate Issuing Stations) (Amendment) Order, 1933 (S. R. & O., No. 180 of 1933).
