AN ACT TO AMEND THE OMBUDSMAN ACT, 1980 . [21st November, 1984] | ||||||||
BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS: | ||||||||

Amendment of section 4 of Ombudsman Act, 1980. |
1.—The Ombudsman Act, 1980 , is hereby amended by the substitution of the following paragraph for paragraph (c) of section 4 (10): | |||||||
“(c) Where an order is proposed to be made under this subsection, a draft thereof shall be laid before each House of the Oireachtas and the order shall not be made until a resolution approving of the draft has been passed by each such House.”. | ||||||||

Short title and collective citation. |
2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Ombudsman (Amendment) Act, 1984. | |||||||
(2) The Ombudsman Act, 1980 , section 52 of the Finance Act, 1981 , and this Act may be cited together as the Ombudsman Acts, 1980 to 1984. | ||||||||
