TRADE MARKS RULES, 1963 (AMENDMENT) RULES, 1983.

I, FRANK CLUSKEY, Minister for Trade, Commerce and Tourism, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 3 and 4 of the Trade Marks Act, 1963 (No. 9 of 1963), and of the Industry, Commerce and Tourism (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1981 ( S.I. No. 290 of 1981 ), hereby, with the sanction of the Minister for Finance, make the following Rules:

1. (1) These Rules may be cited as the Trade Marks Rules, 1963 (Amendment) Rules, 1983.

(2) These Rules shall come into operation on the 1st day of August, 1983.

(3) The Trade Marks Rules, 1963 to 1982, and these Rules may be cited together as the Trade Marks Rules, 1963 to 1983.

2. The Trade Marks Rules, 1963 ( S.I. No. 268 of 1963 ), are hereby amended by the substitution for Schedule I (inserted by the Trade Marks Rules, 1963 (Amendment) Rules, 1982 ( S.I. No. 200 of 1982 )) of the following Schedule:

Fees Payable in Relation to Trade Marks

1. On application not otherwise charged to register a trade mark, or a series of trade marks under section 25 (1) for a specification of goods included in one class

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Rules provide for certain revisions of the fees payable in respect of trade marks.
