FOREIGN PARCEL POST AMENDMENT (NO. 15) WARRANT, 1981.

I, ALBERT REYNOLDS, Minister for Posts and Telegraphs, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 2 , 3 and 6 of the Post Office (Amendment) Act, 1969 (No. 18 of 1969) and with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby order as follows:—

1. (1) This Warrant may be cited as the Foreign Parcel Post Amendment (No. 15) Warrant, 1981.

(2) This Warrant shall come into operation on the 1st day of April, 1981.

2. In this Warrant—

"the Principal Warrant" means the Foreign Parcel Post Warrant, 1953 ( S.I. No. 418 of 1953 );

"the Warrant of 1980" means the Foreign Parcel Post Amendment (No. 14) Warrant, 1980 ( S.I. No. 203 of 1980 ).

3. The Third Schedule to the Principal Warrant is hereby amended by the substitution for the entries therein (inserted by Regulation 4 of the Warrant of 1980) of the entries in the First Schedule to this Warrant.

4. The Fifth Schedule to the Principal Warrant is hereby amended by the substitution for the entries therein (inserted by Regulation 6 of the Warrant of 1980) of the entries in the Second Schedule to this Warrant.

On each parcel where customs duty is payable

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Warrant applies to the Foreign Parcel Post service and comes into operation on the 1st April, 1981. It authorises increases in fees charged for Customs Clearance and the Cash-on-Delivery service.
