CIRCUIT COURT (ALTERATION OF CIRCUITS) ORDER, 1978.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 3 (1) of the Courts Act, 1964 (No. 11 of 1964), and after consultation by the Government, acting through the Minister for Justice, with the President of the Circuit Court and the judges of the Circuit Court permanently assigned to the Midland Circuit and the South-Eastern Circuit, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Circuit Court (Alteration of Circuits) Order, 1978.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1979.

3. The county of Laoighis shall be removed from the South-Eastern Circuit and shall be added to the Midland Circuit.

4. Business transacted in the Circuit Court which was initiated before the commencement of this Order and was not completed before such commencement shall be continued and completed as if this Order had been in operation when such business was initiated.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order transfers the county of Laoighis from the South-Eastern Circuit to the Midland Circuit.
