WORKER PARTICIPATION (STATE ENTERPRISES) ACT, 1977 (APPOINTED DAY) (BRITISH AND IRISH STEAM PACKET COMPANY LIMITED) ORDER, 1978.

I, GENE FITZGERALD, Minister for Labour, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 (1) of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1977 (No. 6 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1977 (Appointed Day) (British and Irish Steam Packet Company Limited) Order, 1978.

2. The 15th day of August, 1978, is hereby appointed to be the appointed day for the purposes of section 6 of the Worker Participation (State Enterprises) Act, 1977 (No. 6 of 1977), in relation to the British and Irish Steam Packet Company Limited.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.
