HARBOUR RATES (DUBLIN PORT AND DOCKS BOARD) (RATES FOR WATCHING DANGEROUS OR COMBUSTIBLE GOODS) ORDER, 1978.

I, PÁDRAIG FAULKNER, Minister for Tourism and Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 104 of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), and the Transport and Power (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1977 ( S.I. No. 305 of 1977 ), and after due compliance with section 106 of that Act, hereby orders as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Harbour Rates (Dublin Port and Docks Board) (Rates for Watching Dangerous or Combustible Goods) Order, 1978.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 17th day of July, 1978.

2. The rate of five pounds per hour is hereby fixed as the maximum rate to be charged by the Dublin Port and Docks Board in respect of watching dangerous or combustible goods.

3. The Harbour Rates (Dublin Port and Docks Board) (Rates for Watching Dangerous or Combustible Goods) Order, 1966 ( S.I. No. 130 of 1966 ), is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to authorise the Dublin Port and Docks Board to charge a revised maximum rate for watching dangerous or combustible goods at the Port of Dublin.
