MINISTERS AND SECRETARIES (AMENDMENT) (No. 2) ACT, 1977 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1977.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 7 (3) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1977 (Commencement) Order, 1977.

2. The first day of January, 1978, is hereby fixed as the day on which the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order fixes the 1st day of January, 1978, as the day on which the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1977 , shall come into operation.
