EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order supersedes the Undersized Sea-fish Order, 1951. It repeats the provisions of that Order but expresses the minimum lengths for the various kinds of sea-fish named therein, with the exception of whiting, in metric instead of imperial measure. It increases the minimum length for whiting to 25 centimetres and introduces a minimum length of 30 centimetres for saithe.
