CLARE COUNTY COUNCIL (AMENDMENT) (No. 2) ORDER, 1974.

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers vested in him by section 33 (7) of the Local Government Act, 1941 (No. 23 of 1941), hereby orders as follows:—

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Clare County Council (Amendment) (No. 2) Order, 1974.

(2) This Order and the Clare County Council Order, 1942, and the Clare County Council (Amendment) Order, 1974 may be cited collectively as the Clare County Council Orders, 1942 to 1974.

2. The Schedule to the Clare County Council (Amendment) Order, 1974, is hereby amended by the transfer of the townlands of Castlequarter Kilkeedy, Culleen and Poulroe in the District Electoral Division of Boston from Ennis Electoral Area to Ennistimon Electoral Area and by the transfer of the townlands of Ballycarroll, Inishmore and Nutfield in the District Electoral Division of Ruan from Ennistimon Electoral Area to Ennis Electoral Area.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to alter the division of Clare County into electoral areas by transferring certain townlands from Ennis electoral area to Ennistimon electoral area and from Ennistimon electoral area to Ennis electoral area.
