FLUORIDATION OF WATER SUPPLIES (WICKLOW) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1974.

The Minister for Health in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Sections 2 and 4 of the Health (Fluoridation of Water Supplies) Act, 1960 (No. 46 of 1960) and having complied with subsection (4) of Section 2 of that Act and having consulted with the Minister for Local Government hereby makes the following Regulations:—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Fluoridation of Water Supplies (Wicklow) (Amendment) Regulations, 1974.

2. The Fluoridation of Water Supplies (Wicklow) Regulations, 1962 ( S.I. No. 77 of 1962 ) as amended by the Fluoridation of Water Supplies (Wicklow) (Amendment) Regulations, 1965 ( S.I. No. 102 of 1965 ) are hereby amended as follows:—

( a ) by the addition of "and 16" after "14" in sub-article 2 of Article 4,

( b ) by the addition to the First Schedule of the following paragraph:

16. The Laragh/Annamoe piped water supply.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These regulations require the Eastern Health Board to arrange for the fluoridation of the Laragh/Annamoe public piped water supply, in addition to the public piped water supplies specified in the original regulations, and require the Wicklow County Council, acting as agents for the Board, to fluoridate the Laragh/Annamoe public piped water supply.
