EXPLANATORY NOTE.

An Chomhairle Oiliúna (The Industrial Training Authority) was established under the Industrial Training Act, 1967 , to promote training in industry and commerce.

The Industrial Training (Chemical and Allied Products Committee) Order, 1972 ( S.I. No. 259 of 1972 ) established an industrial training committee, to be known as the Chemical and Allied Products Industry Training Committee, to advise and assist An Chomhairle as respects the performance of its functions.

This Order amends the Industrial Training (Chemical and Allied Products Committee) Order, 1972, by increasing the number of committee members to twenty-four ordinary members.
