S.I. No. 92/1970 - Córas Iompair Éireann (Transport Stock) (Amendment) Regulations, 1970.

I, BRIAN LENIHAN, Minister for Transport and Power, after consultation with the Minister for Finance and in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 29 (6) of the Transport Act, 1950 (No. 12 of 1950), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), hereby make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Córas Iompair Éireann (Transport Stock) (Amendment) Regulations, 1970.

2. The Córas Iompair Éireann (Transport Stock) Regulations, 1950 ( S.I. No. 147 of 1950 ), are hereby amended—

(a) by the deletion in paragraphs (3) and (4) of regulation 5 of "and on payment of a fee of two shillings and sixpence", and

(b) by the deletion of regulation 9.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The purpose of these Regulations is to abolish certain fees payable under the Córas Iompair Éireann (Transport Stock) Regulations, 1950.
