EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to bring section 54 of the Public Health (Ireland) Act, 1878 into force in the County Health District of Dublin. Section 54 enables a sanitary authority to make byelaws for the regulation of the keeping of animals on any premises or for the prevention of the keeping of such animals so as to be injurious to health. It also enables byelaws to be made for the prevention of nuisances arising from snow and from rubbish.
