FINES AND PENALTIES (DISPOSAL) ORDER, 1969.

I, MICHEÁL Ó MÓRÁIN, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 51 of the Court Officers Act, 1926 (No. 27 of 1926), and with the concurrence of the Minister for Finance, hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Fines and Penalties (Disposal) Order, 1969.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. (1) Every fine imposed in respect of an offence under—

(a) the Local Government (No. 2) Act, 1960 (No. 40 of 1960),

(b) the Derelict Sites Act, 1961 (No. 3 of 1961),

(c) the Local Government (Planning and Development) Act, 1963 (No. 28 of 1963), or

(d) the Housing Act, 1966 (No. 21 of 1966),

which is prosecuted by a body to which this Order applies shall, in lieu of being paid into the Exchequer, be paid to the body.

(2) In this Article " body to which this Order applies " means—

(a) the council of a county,

(b) the corporation of a county or other borough,

(c) the council of an urban district, and

(d) the commissioners of a town.
