AUTHORISED COURSING MEETINGS (EXEMPTION FROM LEVY) REGULATIONS, 1968.

Bord na gCon, in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by Section 2 of the Greyhound Industry Act, 1958 (No. 12 of 1958), and also by subsection 3 of Section 5 of the said Act, hereby makes the following regulations, that is to say :—

1. Every course bet entered into by a licensed bookmaker at every authorised coursing meeting held before the first day of September, 1973, shall be exempt as respects the levies provided for by the Greyhound Industry Act, 1958 (No. 12 of 1958).

2. These regulations may be cited as the Authorised Coursing Meetings (Exemption from Levy) Regulations, 1968.

3. These regulations shall come into operation on the second day of September, 1968.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of the regulations is to exempt authorised coursing meetings held before 1st September, 1973, as respects the levies payable to Bord na gCon.
