MERCHANT SHIPPING (SAFETY CONVENTION) (COUNTRIES OF ACCEPTANCE) ORDER, 1967.

I, ERSKINE H. CHILDERS, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 4 of the Merchant Shipping (Safety Convention) Act, 1952 (No. 29 of 1952), as amended by section 2 of the Merchant Shipping Act, 1966 (No. 20 of 1966), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Safety Convention) (Countries of Acceptance) Order, 1967.

2. It is hereby declared that the government of each of the countries specified in the Schedule to this Order has accepted the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea signed in London on behalf of the Government on the 17th day of June, 1960.
