HEALTH AND MENTAL TREATMENT (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1966 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1966.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (4) of section 3 of the Health and Mental Treatment (Amendment) Act, 1966 (No. 2 of 1966), hereby orders as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Health and Mental Treatment (Amendment) Act, 1966 (Commencement) Order, 1966.

2. The Health and Mental Treatment (Amendment) Act, 1966 shall come into operation on the 1st day of April, 1966.

GIVEN under the official Seal of the Minister for Health this twenty eighth day of March, 1966.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings into operation, from the 1st April, 1966, the Health and Mental Treatment (Amendment) Act, 1966 (No. 2 of 1966).
