WATERFORD HEALTH AUTHORITY AREA AND KILKENNY COUNTY (REGISTRARS' DISTRICTS) ORDER, 1965.

I, PÁDRAIG Ó CINNÉIDE, an tArd-Chláraitheoir, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 18 of the Registration of Births and Deaths (Ireland) Act, 1863, and section 8 of the Registration of Marriages (Ireland) Act, 1863, hereby order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Waterford Health Authority Area and Kilkenny County (Registrars' Districts) Order, 1965.

2. On the 9th day of May, 1965, the area which was added to the County Borough of Waterford by the County Borough of Waterford (Extension of Boundary) Provisional Order, 1955, as confirmed by the Local Government Provisional Orders Confirmation Act, 1955 , and which is described in the Schedule hereto, shall be detached from Ullid Registrar's District in the County of Kilkenny and shall form part of Waterford Urban No. 1 Registrar's District in the Waterford Health Authority Area and the boundaries of the said Registrars' Districts shall be altered accordingly.

3. On the 10th day of May, 1965:—

(a) The Registrars' Districts of Waterford Urban No. 1, Waterford Urban No. 2, Waterford Rural No. 1 and Waterford Rural No. 2 shall cease to exist;

(b) The Dispensary Districts of Waterford No. 1, Waterford No. 2 and Waterford No. 3 as constituted by the Waterford Public Assistance District (Dispensary Districts) Order, 1958, S.I. No. 107 of 1958 , shall become and be Registrars' Districts for the purposes of the Births and Deaths Registration Acts, 1863 to 1952 and the Registration of Marriages (Ireland) Act, 1863, and shall be known respectively as Waterford No. 1 Registrar's District, Waterford No. 2 Registrar's District and Waterford No. 3 Registrar's District.

SCHEDULE.

Description of the Part of Ullid Registrar's District transferred to Waterford Urban No. 1 Registrar's District.

That part of the Ullid Registrar's District situated between the boundary of the County Borough of Waterford as existing on the 31st March, 1955, and a line drawn as follows:—

Starting at the point where the said existing boundary is intersected by the southern fence of the 5.355 acres field rated in the name of Colonel Edward Garraway in Rockshire Townland, thence in a north-easterly direction along the said fence to its junction with the eastern fence of the said field, thence in northerly, north-westerly, northerly and north-easterly directions along the southern wall and fence of the lands rated in the name of Colonel Edward Garraway in the said townland to the junction of the said fence with the eastern boundary of Rockshire Townland, thence in south-easterly and south-westerly directions along the said townland boundary to its intersection with the imaginary north-westerly projection of the centre line of the north-eastern fence of the right-of-way leading south-east from the north-easterly continuation of Ross Road between the holdings owned by Clover Meats, Limited and the Diocesan Trustees in Abbeyland Townland to the hereditament rated in the name of the Corporation in the last-mentioned townland, thence in a south-easterly direction along the said projection and in south-easterly, south-westerly and north-westerly directions along the last-mentioned fence and along the fences which form the north-eastern, south-eastern and south-western boundaries of the last-mentioned hereditament to the junction of the south-western fence with the southern wall of the 1.270 acres field rated in the name of Clover Meats, Limited in the last-mentioned townland, thence, in south-westerly and north-westerly directions respectively along the southern and western walls of the last-mentioned field to the junction of the western wall with the southern wall of the .959 acre graveyard enclosure surrounding the Church of the Sacred Heart in Abbeyland Townland, thence in a south-westerly direction along the last-mentioned wall to its junction with the said existing boundary.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is

(a) to detach from Ullid Registrar's District the area which was added to the County Borough of Waterford by the County Borough of Waterford (Extension of Boundary) Provisional Order, 1955, and to attach this area to the Registrar's District of Waterford Urban No. 1,

(b) and then to abolish the Registrars' Districts of Waterford Urban No. 1, Waterford Urban No. 2, Waterford Rural No. 1 and Waterford Rural No. 2, and

(c) to form three Registrars' Districts of the areas which were included in the four Registrars' Districts referred to at (b). The boundaries of these three Registrars' Districts will be co-terminous with the boundaries of the existing three Dispensary Districts.
