ANIMAL REMEDIES (CONTROL OF CERTAIN ANTI-ABORTION VACCINES) REGULATIONS, 1965 | ||
I, CHARLES J. HAUGHEY, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7 of the Animal Remedies Act, 1956 (No. 41 of 1956), and after consultation with the Animal Remedies Consultative Committee and the Minister for Health, hereby make the following regulations:— 1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Animal Remedies (Control of Certain Anti-Abortion Vaccines) Regulations, 1965. | ||
(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on the 17th day of May, 1965. 2. In these Regulations, "animal remedy to which these Regulations apply" means any anti-abortion vaccine intended for use in the vaccination of a bovine animal against brucellosis. 3. The sale of the animal remedy to which these Regulations apply is hereby prohibited save under licence of the Minister. | ||

EXPLANATORY NOTE. | ||
These Regulations prohibit the sale of any anti-abortion vaccine for use in the vaccination of cattle against brucellosis, except under licence of the Minister. |
