MILK AND MILK PRODUCTS (RESTRICTION OF EXPORT) ORDER, 1964.

I, PATRICK SMITH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (1) of section 57 of the Dairy Produce Marketing Act, 1961 (No. 1 of 1961), hereby order as follows :

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Milk and Milk Products (Restriction of Export) Order, 1964.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of March, 1964.

2. (1) The export of any articles specified in Part I of the Schedule to this Order is hereby prohibited save under and in accordance with a licence in that behalf issued under the Dairy Produce Marketing Act, 1961 .

(2) The export of any articles specified in Part II of the Schedule to this Order, otherwise than to Great Britain, the Isle of Man or Northern Ireland, is hereby prohibited save under and in accordance with a licence in that behalf issued under the Dairy Produce Marketing Act, 1961 .

3. This Order does not apply as respects articles exported by parcel post or as part of a traveller's personal luggage.

SCHEDULE.

PART I.

1. Milk.

2. Condensed milk.

3. Dried or powdered milk.

4. Cream.

5. Cheese, whether raw or processed.

6. Butter.

7. Butter-oil (anhydrous), including any article containing not less than 99.3% of butterfat by weight and not more than 0.5% of water by weight.

PART II.

8. Chocolate crumb.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order prohibits the export to any country of milk, condensed milk, dried or powdered milk, cream, cheese, butter and butter-oil, and prohibits the export of chocolate crumb otherwise than to Great Britain, the Isle of Man or Northern Ireland, save under licence or by parcel post or as part of a passenger's personal luggage.
