LIVE PIGEONS (PROHIBITION OF EXPORT) ORDER, 1956 (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1964.

I, PATRICK SMITH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the joint operation of the Agriculture Acts, 1931 to 1964, and of section 49 of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1894, hereby order as follows :—

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Live Pigeons (Prohibition of Export) Order, 1956 (Revocation) Order, 1964.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of October, 1964.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The Live Pigeons (Prohibition of Export) Order, 1956 ( S.I. No. 222 of 1956 ), is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to remove the licensing controls on the export of live pigeons from this country.
