LOCAL GOVERNMENT (PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT) ACT, 1963, (APPOINTED DAY) ORDER, 1964.

The Minister for Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by paragraph (a) of subsection (3) of section 1 of the Local Government (Planning and Development) Act, 1963 , (No. 28 of 1963) hereby orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Planning and Development) Act, 1963 , (Appointed Day) Order, 1964.

2. The 1st day of October, 1964, shall be the day appointed under the Local Government (Planning and Development) Act, 1963 .

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to bring into operation on 1st October, 1964, the Local Government (Planning and Development) Act, 1963 , except section 1 (which is in operation since the passing of the Act) and sections 86, 87 and 88 and subsection (5) of section 92.
