S.I. No. 74 of 1963.

DUBLIN HEALTH AUTHORITY AREA (DISPENSARY DISTRICTS) ORDER, 1963.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (2) of Section 51 of the Health Act, 1953 (No. 26 of 1953), hereby orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Dublin Health Authority Area (Dispensary Districts) Order, 1963.

2. The division of the Dublin Health Authority Area into dispensary districts shall be varied as follows :

(a) The areas described in Part 1 of the Schedule hereto shall cease to form part of Blackrock and Stillorgan Dispensary District and shall henceforth form part of Dún Laoghaire Dispensary District.

(b) The area described in Part 2 of the Schedule hereto shall cease to form part of Killiney Dispensary District and shall henceforth form part of Dún Laoghaire Dispensary District.

(c) The area described in Part 3 of the Schedule hereto shall cease to form part of Killiney Dispensary District and shall henceforth form part of Bray No. 2 Dispensary District.

(d) The area described in Part 4 of the Schedule hereto shall cease to form part of Blackrock and Stillorgan Dispensary District and shall henceforth form part of Killiney Dispensary District.

3. In the Schedule to this Order—

(a) A reference to a road, avenue or stream shall be construed as a reference to the centre line of such road, avenue or stream;

(b) A reference to an existing boundary means that boundary as existing immediately before the coming into operation of this Order;

(c) A reference to the Dún Laoghaire Borough boundary means the existing boundary of the Borough of Dún Laoghaire.

4. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of June, 1963.

SCHEDULE.

PART 1.

Description of areas taken from Blackrock and Stillorgan Dispensary District to form part of Dún Laoghaire Dispensary District.

(a) The area bounded by a line drawn from the point where the existing common boundary of Blackrock and Stillorgan Dispensary District and Dún Laoghaire Dispensary District meets Low Water Mark in southerly, south-easterly, westerly, southerly and north-westerly directions successively along this common boundary to where it meets the Dún Laoghaire Borough Boundary ; thence along this last mentioned boundary in a north-westerly direction to where it meets Stradbrook Road; thence in a northerly direction along Stradbrook Road and the road known as Temple Hill to where the last mentioned road meets Newtown Avenue; thence along Newtown Avenue to its junction with Seapoint Avenue; thence in an easterly direction along Seapoint Avenue to its junction with the road leading to the western entrance to Brightonvale; thence in a northerly direction along this road and along a line projected in a northerly direction from the termination of this road to Low Water Mark; thence in a south-easterly direction along the line of Low Water Mark to the starting point.

(b) The area bounded by a line drawn from the junction of Johnstown Road with Rochestown Avenue in a north-westerly direction along Rochestown Avenue to its junction with Sallynoggin Road; thence in a north-easterly direction along Sallynoggin Road to the point where it meets the Dún Laoghaire Borough Boundary; thence in a north-westerly direction along the Dún Laoghaire Borough Boundary to its intersection by Kill Avenue; thence in westerly and south-westerly directions successively along Kill Avenue to its intersection by the Clonkeen stream; thence in a south-easterly direction along the Clonkeen stream to the point where the stream meetsJohnstown Road; thence in northerly and north-easterly directions successively along this road to the starting point.

PART 2.

Description of area taken from Killiney Dispensary District to form part of Dún Laoghaire Dispensary District.

The area bounded by a line drawn from the point where the existing common boundary of Blackrock and Stillorgan Dispensary District and Dún Laoghaire Dispensary District meets the existing common boundary of Killiney Dispensary District and Blackrock and Stillorgan Dispensary District in north-easterly, southerly and south-easterly directions successively along the existing common boundary of Dún Laoghaire and Killiney Dispensary Districts to its junction with the road known as Rochestown Park; thence in a south-westerly direction along this road to its junction with the existing common boundary of Blackrock and Stillorgan Dispensary District and Killiney Dispensary District; thence in north-westerly and north-easterly directions successively along this common boundary to the starting point.

PART 3.

Description of area taken from Killiney Dispensary District to form part of Bray No. 2 Dispensary District.

The area bounded by a line drawn from the point where the existing common boundary of Dundrum and Glencullen Dispensary District and Killiney Dispensary District meets the existing common boundary of Dundrum and Glencullen Dispensary District and Bray No. 2 Dispensary District in north-westerly, easterly, northerly, north-easterly, northerly, easterly and northerly directions successively along the existing common boundary of Dundrum and Glencullen Dispensary District and Killiney Dispensary District to its junction with the existing southern boundary of Blackrock and Stillorgan Dispensary District; thence in easterly, northerly and north-easterly directions successively along the existing common boundary of Blackrock and Stillorgan Dispensary District and Killiney Dispensary District to its junction with the road from Kill of the Grange to Ballybrack; thence in a south-easterly direction along this road to where it meets the Dún Laoghaire Borough Boundary; thence along the Dún Laoghaire Borough Boundary in south-easterly, southerly, south-westerly, south-easterlyand southerly directions successively to where it meets the existing common boundary of Killiney Dispensary District and Bray No. 2 Dispensary District; thence in westerly and south-westerly directions successively along this common boundary to the starting point.

PART 4.

Description of area taken from Blackrock and Stillorgan Dispensary District to form part of Killiney Dispensary District.

The area bounded by a line drawn from the junction of Johnstown Road and Pottery Road in a north-easterly direction along Johnstown Road to its junction with the existing common boundary of Blackrock and Stillorgan Dispensary District and Killiney Dispensary District; thence in south-easterly, south-westerly, north-westerly and south-westerly directions successively along this common boundary to its intersection by Johnstown Road; thence in a northerly direction along Johnstown Road to the starting point.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to vary the division of the Dublin Health Authority area into dispensary districts by the alteration of the Bray No. 2; Blackrock and Stillorgan; Killiney and Dún Laoghaire Dispensary Districts.
