S.I. No. 211 of 1963.

CORK HEALTH AUTHORITY AREA (DISPENSARY DISTRICTS) ORDER, 1963.

The Minister for Health in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sub-section (2) of section 51 of the Health Act, 1953 (No. 26 of 1953) hereby orders as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Cork Health Authority Area (Dispensary Districts) Order, 1963.

2. The division of the functional area of the Cork Health Authority into dispensary districts shall be varied as follows:—

(a) there shall be a dispensary district to be known as Cork Dispensary District, comprising the area described in Part I of the Schedule hereto;

(b) the dispensary districts known as Cork Urban Dispensary District, Cork Rural Dispensary District and Douglas Dispensary District shall be abolished;

(c) the area described in Part II of the Schedule and heretofore forming part of the Cork Rural Dispensary District shall henceforth form part of the Blarney Dispensary District;

(d) the area described in Part III of the Schedule shall cease to form part of the Whitechurch Dispensary District.

3. This Order shall come into operation on the Eighteenth day of November, 1963.

SCHEDULE.

PART I.

Description of area comprising the Cork Dispensary District.

(a) The area heretofore comprising the Cork Urban Dispensary District;

(b) The area heretofore comprising the Cork Rural Dispensary District excepting the townlands of Killard, Killeens, Ballygrohan and Knocknagorty in the district electoral division of St. Mary's;

(c) The area heretofore comprising the Douglas Dispensary District;

(d) The townland of Lotabeg in the district electoral division of Rathcooney.

PART II.

Description of area to be added to the Blarney Dispensary District.

The townlands of Killard, Killeens, Ballygrohan and Knocknagorty in the district electoral division of St. Mary's.

PART III.

Description of area to be transferred from Whitechurch Dispensary District to Cork Dispensary District.

The townland of Lotabeg in the district electoral division of Rathcooney.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to vary the division of the Cork Health Authority Area into dispensary districts by the amalgamation of the areas hitherto comprising the Cork Urban Dispensary District, Cork Rural Dispensary District (except for a portion transferred to Blarney Dispensary District), Douglas Dispensary District and the townland of Lotabeg (hitherto forming part of Whitechurch Dispensary District). The Order also alters the boundaries of Blarney and Whitechurch Dispensary Districts.
