AGRICULTURAL AND FISHERY PRODUCTS (REGULATION OF EXPORT) ACT, 1947 (TRANSFER OF POWERS) ORDER, 1956 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1963.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by subsections (2) and (3) of Section 5 of the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (No. 18 of 1947), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (Transfer of Powers) Order, 1956 (Amendment) Order, 1963.

2. In this Order " the Principal Order " means the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (Transfer of Powers) Order, 1956 ( S.I. No. 52 of 1956 ).

3. The powers transferred to and vested in the Minister for Industry and Commerce by the Principal Order, so far as they relate to or are concerned with the following products, that is to say, sugar, molasses, glucose and sugar syrups, are hereby retransferred to and revested in the Minister for Agriculture.

4. The Principal Order is hereby amended by the deletion from the Schedule of " Sugar, molasses, glucose, sugar syrups and ".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to retransfer to and revest in the Minister for Agriculture the appropriate powers under the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 relating to sugar, molasses, glucose and sugar syrups.
