LOCAL GOVERNMENT (SANITARY SERVICES) ACT, 1962 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1963.

I, NEIL T. BLANEY, Minister for Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 14 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1962 (No. 26 of 1962), hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1962 (Commencement) Order, 1963.

2. The 1st day of July, 1963, is hereby fixed as the day on which sections 2 and 3 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1962 , shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to bring into operation on 1st July, 1963, sections 2 and 3 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1962 , which provide for the making of grants to persons providing and installing in dwelling-houses private water supplies and private sewerage facilities.
