LOCAL GOVERNMENT (SANITARY SERVICES) ACT, 1948 (SECTION 34) (PART OF COUNTY OF DONEGAL) ORDER, 1961.

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sub-section (2) of section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 (No. 3 of 1948) hereby orders as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 (Section 34) (Part of County of Donegal) Order, 1961.

2. On the seventh day after the date of this Order Section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 shall come into operation in that part of the sanitary district of the County Health District of Donegal consisting of—

(a) the townlands of Rockhill, Breaghy, Knockduff, Parkmore, Marble Hill and Clonmass in the district electoral division of Ards,

(b) the townlands of Crocknamurleog and Larganreagh in the district electoral division of Rossguill,

(c) the townlands of Figary and Lisfannan in the district electoral division of Fahan and

(d) the townlands of Ballymacarry and Luddan in the district electoral division of Buncrana.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to bring section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 , into operation in the parts of the County Health District of Donegal set out in Article 2 of the Order. Section 34 authorises a sanitary authority to grant to the occupier of land, or with the consent of the occupier to a camping organisation, a licence authorising the use during a specified period of twelve consecutive months of land for camping.
