S.I. No. 276/1961 - Córas Iompair Éireann (Transport Stock) (Amendment) Regulations, 1961.

I, ERSKINE H. CHILDERS, Minister for Transport and Power, after consultation with the Minister for Finance and in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (6) of section 29 of the Transport Act, 1950 (No. 12 of 1950), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), hereby make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Córas Iompair Éireann (Transport Stock) (Amendment) Regulations, 1961.

2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 11th day of December, 1961.

3. Paragraph (1) of Regulation 9 of the Córas Iompair Éireann (Transport Stock) Regulations, 1950 ( S.I. No. 147 of 1950 ), is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The purpose of these regulations is to abolish the payment of certain registration fees at present payable on transport stocks.
