PIGS AND BACON COMMISSION (NOMINATING BODIES) (PIG PRODUCERS) ORDER, 1961.

I, PATRICK SMITH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subparagraph (i) of paragraph (b) of subsection (3) (inserted by section 7 of the Pigs and Bacon (Amendment) Act, 1961 (No. 14 of 1961) ) of section 4 of the Pigs and Bacon (Amendment) Act, 1939 (No. 35 of 1939), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Pigs and Bacon Commission (Nominating Bodies) (Pig Producers) Order, 1961.

2. The bodies specified in the Schedule to this Order, being bodies that the Minister for Agriculture considers to be representative of the interests of pig producers, are hereby declared to be the nominating bodies for the purposes of subparagraph (i) of paragraph (b) of subsection (3) (inserted by section 7 of the Pigs and Bacon (Amendment) Act, 1961 (No. 14 of 1961) ) of section 4 of the Pigs and Bacon (Amendment) Act, 1939 (No. 35 of 1939).
