HARBOURS ACT, 1946 (WICKLOW HARBOUR COMMISSIONERS) ORDER, 1960.

I, ERSKINE H. CHILDERS, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 146 of the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Harbours Act, 1946 (Wicklow Harbour Commissioners) Order, 1960.

2. Part II of the First Schedule to the Harbours Act, 1946 (No. 9 of 1946), is hereby amended by the insertion in the third column, opposite the mention of Wicklow Harbour Commissioners, of the words "Wicklow Chamber of Commerce."

3. The Wicklow Chamber of Commerce may, at any time after the making of this Order, appoint two persons to be the chamber of commerce members of the Wicklow Harbour Commissioners and the term of office of a member so appointed shall commence on the 13th day of October, 1960.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Instrument is to authorise Wicklow Chamber of Commerce to appoint two members to Wicklow Harbour Board.
