CUSTOMS-FREE AIRPORT (ROAD TRAFFIC) REGULATIONS, 1960. | ||
I, ERSKINE H. CHILDERS, Minister for Transport and Power, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 13 of the Customs-free Airport Act, 1947 (No. 5 of 1947) (as amended by section 11 of the Customs-free Airport (Amendment) Act, 1958 (No. 29 of 1958)) and the Transport, Fuel and Power (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1959 ( S.I. No. 125 of 1959 ), with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Customs-free Airport (Road Traffic) Regulations, 1960. 2. A person driving a vehicle shall not stop the vehicle within the Customs-free Airport for the purpose of setting down or taking up passengers or goods except at the following places: | ||
(a) the area of the Industrial Estate, | ||
(b) the oil depots, | ||
(c) the area of the fire station, | ||
(d) the cargo terminal, | ||
(e) the terminal building, | ||
(f) the place known as the Camp. 3. The Customs-free Airport (Road Traffic) Regulations, 1947 ( S. R. & O. No. 117 of 1947 ), are hereby revoked. | ||

EXPLANATORY NOTE | ||
These Regulations prescribe the places at which vehicles may stop within the Customs-free Airport for the purposes of setting down or taking up passengers or goods. These places are in lieu of those prescribed by the Customs-free Airport (Road Traffic) Regulations 1947 ( S. R. & O. No. 117 of 1947 ) which have been revoked. |
