Prohibition of insuring with unlicensed person.

24.—(1) It shall not be lawful for any person to pay, as consideration for the provision of benefits of the kind specified in subsection (1) of section 23 of this Act, a subscription or premium to or to accept any such benefits from a person who is acting in contravention of that section.

(2) Every person who acts in contravention of this section shall be guilty of an offence under this section and shall be liable on summary conviction thereof to a fine not exceeding fifty pounds.
