Amendment of section 40 of Act of 1939.

13.—Notwithstanding anything contained in section 40 of the Act of 1939—
|
|
| |
(a) an order under subsection (2) of that section may provide that the order shall be deemed to have come into force on a specified day before that on which it is made;
|
|
| |
(b) where an order under that subsection provides that the order shall be deemed to have come into force on a specified day before that on which it is made—
|
|
| |
(i) it shall be deemed to have come into force on that specified day, and
|
|
| |
(ii) the next previous order under that subsection shall be deemed to have ceased to be in force immediately before that specified day.
